Secret Superstar!

I can’t believe it’s going to be 4 years since I wrote something and my blog just seems to be so empty without any new content. A lot has happened in 4 years. I don’t have enough words to describe each passing year. I left my job and my mother land ‘India’ to pursue my Master’s dream in United States. And its time that my Master’s is going to end and life is taking a good turn. Maybe I was so much occupied with stuff going on in my life that I totally forgot how much I enjoy writing and how much I miss it.

Anyways, the topic and inspiration for today’s writing is in the title itself: ‘Secret Superstar‘. I am not sure how many of you have seen this Bollywood movie called Secret Superstar but it is that masterpiece which awakened my long lost writing days. Sitting on a weekend scrolling through movies on Netflix, I came across this one. I wanted to watch some time back but couldn’t. So I just started watching it and after 2 hrs 30 minutes of the movie, I am sitting here wanting to write something on that. I still don’t understand what impact that movie left on me or why did I immediately thought of writing but whatever it is, the feeling is real. I want to pen down few of my takeaways from that movie.

The one major thing I learned from this movie is “Always follow your dreams and never give up!”. There is this amazing thing called ‘talent’ which everyone of us has within us in some form or the other. Some are aware of theirs’ and some are still struggling to find theirs’. And then there are some who despite of knowing their talent are not able to showcase it because of various restrictions  put on them by society. I would still say that at least we are born in a generation where we are fortunate enough to do the things we like, either by uploading videos on YouTube, writing or developing something we are good at and making sure our talent does not end up in vain. But again, there are still some people who do not have courage to speak up and show the world what they are good at. This blog and the words are just to encourage them to come forward and open up as they never know, what is their worth and where they can reach with the talent they have. Now is the time to fight through all the obstacles you have because trust me, once you take the path to follow your dream you will definitely love it and would never want to turn back. And once you reach a place where there is no turning back, it is then when you will realize that your talent is no more hidden and that this is what you were born for.

The other major thing I could takeaway from this movie is that not everyone is fortunate or lucky enough to have supportive parents by their side. Following your dreams and satisfying your parents are the two things that will mostly always repel and become a distraction in your life. But again, its your dreams that should be given importance too. Do things to make it work but just don’t let your talent go to drain by not doing anything about it. Trust me, god has found you special enough to gift you with that amazing talent so you should in no way disappoint him by doing nothing about it. I’m lucky enough to have supportive parents who have given me immense strength and freedom to do what I love. Education is one important side of life but your talent and dreams are the other wheel of the bicycle. Without it, your life’s cycle is never going to run. So pull up your socks and start working towards what you have always wanted to.

Lastly, I would just want to mention how beautifully the movie has captured and shown the whole idea of motherhood and how much important the relationship of a mother and child is. Someone amazingly said it and I quote “God couldn’t be everywhere, so they created mothers”. The amount of sacrifice a mother makes for the lives of their children has no comparison so appreciate her while you can. Anyways, I am no Shakespeare or Martin Luther that my words are going to motivate you, but I do hope somewhere someone really does something about their broken dreams or hidden talent to remove the word Secret from Superstar. The world needs to see a Superstar who is not secret anymore and can make a difference in other’s life.

New Boy in the City!

Doesn’t this title seems similar to you? Well yes, its been stolen from the famous Bollywood movie “Wake up Sid!” The only difference is girl being replaced by boy here. And that boy is ofcourse me 😀 When I thought of writing I couldn’t come up with any title other than this 😛  And also the city isn’t Mumbai this time. It’s the third largest city in Andhra Pradesh, the city known as the Port city, Visakhapatnam. Many people know it as Vizag. The city basically famous for the Visakhapatnam Port has various different beaches that add to the city’s beauty. It also has various hills, one of which being Kailasgiri hills!  The weather here is almost rainy always and humidity adds as a negative trait due to the city located near beach.

Enough of city’s description now. It’s time for my experience here so far. It’s just been two weeks since I have been in this city but I don’t know why, there is something different about this city. I stepped up into Vizag on 7th of July as I had to report at Wipro on 8th July for my first Job. I was as usual excited but that questions kept up popping into my head whether how the new city would be and how would be the people here as it was my first visit to Andhra pradesh. I reached at my relatives place on 7th and the first thing I observed after getting into Vizag was the scenic Beauty. The hills and beaches here are just amazing and it adds an extra flavor into the city of Port.

I reported at Wipro on 8th July and thereafter I had to join the office from 14th July. so I had a good 5 days time to visit this place and I really utilized this time. I started of my visit with Varuna Beach where there is a submarine kept as a museum for people to visit. that heavy submarine served in the Indian Navy in 1971. Believe it or not, it took 1.5 years to bring that submarine from jut the shore to the place where its kept now. And the total amount spent in this transporting was around 6 crores. The Submarine has been made open from inside for people to visit. My next destination was Kailasgiri hills, a place you would fall in love with. The best thing about that place is, it portrays the entire Vizag from hills. the view from there is just wonderful. There is a toy train that runs around the hills making you see the entire vizag city from hills. The view of the city along with the sea and beach makes it more attractive and lovely. I have never seen such a scenic beauty in my entire life. Also the place is so good for photography lovers. I bet your camera would have a bunch of pics at the end of the day you visit kailasgiri hills.

This city definitely has got a lot of tourist attraction places. And there are yet a lot number of places which I haven’t visited yet. I hope to visit them soon on weekend. Concluding this I would just like to say that this city has been very special to me as I did not fear even for a single second the day I stepped here. Its been such a wonderful place. Although I am here only for three months but still I hope to explore it totally. And obviously it’s special for me because I got to start my professional life from such a nice place. I am just more than glad that I got my training location as Vizag 🙂

All I have is you!!

When I cry nobody cares but only u ask “what happened??”

When I smile everybody asks “why” but only you smile in return.

When I lose or fail everybody says “its not your thing” but only u say “you can do it”

When I win everybody says “congrats” but only you say ” I knew u would do it”

When I am sad nobody understands me but only u understand me and say “you don’t deserve to be sad”

When I am happy everybody tries to find the reason behind it but only you actually feel the way i feel!

When I go some place everybody says “bye and take care” but only you say “call me when you reach safely”

When I come back tired everybody asks “how was your day” but only you ask “did you eat something or not”

When I feel like sleeping nobody gives me their shoulder or lap but its only you who say “come and lie down by my side”

No matter where I go and what I do, you are the only person that comes to my mind before doing anything wrong.

Whenever something happens you are the only one whose number is always on my last dialled calls.

There are many types of somebody and everybody who will say “the best thing they have is you”

But you are the only one who actually mean when you say “all I have is you”

For everybody I m just a normal boy but for you I will always be the BEST.

And hence this is the reason my loving mother, YOU are always different from the rest.

Value Girls!!

Once upon a time in our planet earth,
The parents killed there daughters before birth.

Having a girl child was a shame to the society,
Nobody was ready to take her responsibility.

Slowly the time’s changed and girls were born,
They lived happily and their bad days were gone.

Today when I see my country’s image getting burn,
I wonder why were parents always after having a son.

Just because he will grow up and turn out to be a rapist,
and leave innocent girls to suffer a life of shit.

Its better to be child less rather than having such a son,
Who kill their human values, and use girls for their fun.

For all the girls who suffered and lost their lives,
You never deserved this for which you were left to strive.

I just wish the history does not repeat again,
where parents fear to have a girl child and world faces pain.

We cant change things that has already taken place,
We can just pray to god that your souls rest in peace.

Happy Birthday Dad !!

You always stood by me when nobody did,
I am proud that i am your kid.

From the day you held my hand,
I smiled, as u were there with me to stand.

As mirror has its image; i am yours,
Having you by my side makes me secure.

More than a father, you have been a friend,
I wish to have u always till my end.

On this day i want to say,
thank god for this wonderful day,
because once in a year comes this day,
When you get to celebrate your birthday!!

Wish you a very happy birthday dad 🙂

Happy birthday Nani!!

Is jahan se to chale gaye, par is dil se kaise jaoge,
Jahan bhi raho humesha humko apne paas hi paoge.

Kisi ne sach hi kaha hai, naniInsan duniya se chala zarur jata hai,
Par wo aakhiri k din soch k abhi bhi,
aapki yad me mera dil bhr aata hai.

Hospital me bitaye aapke sath wo aakhiri k pal aaj bhi mujhe rulaate hain,
Aapka wo pareshan hoke na so pana abhi tak mjhe satate hain.

aaj bhi yad aati hai aapke hath ki wo namkeen sewaiyan,
jo koi aur kabhi bana nhi skta,
Kaise milegi ab mjhe wo khane ko,
Aapke bina mjhe wo koi khila b nahi sakta.

har farz aapne apna bekhubi nibhaya hai,
Ek beti, patni aur maa kya hai saabit krke dikhaya hai.

Apni maa me maine dekhi hai aapki hi parchayi,
Jinke rehne se meri zindagi me har wo khushi bhar aayi.

Aaj aapka janam din hai aur aap humare sath nahi,
humare bas me hota to kabka rok lete aapko humare pas yahin.

Lekin jana to har ek ko hota hai ek din,
Yehi zindagi ka dastur hai jisme jina padega ab aapke bin!!

Wo bhi kya din the!!

wo bhi kya din the,

wo bhi kya pal the..

Ek seat ke liye ladte hum sab the,

koi late aata tha to koi jaldi,

Wo jheli hai ek ghante ki dau ki speech,1237852_591215984273266_120133343_n

aur kabhi to jhela hai wo bekar sa function,

lekin ek sath khade hone ko bhi marte hum sab the…

Wo thursday ko full attendance hona,

and PE period k bad komal mam k samne nakhre karna,

mam ne bhi humesha mani hai humari baat,

manti kaise nhi, aakhir hum bachche hi ithe mast the..

Priya mam ka lecture attend karne wale, aise daring hum sab the..

Rudra k lab me video dekhne wale wo mahan hum sab the…

Kaise bhul sakte hai singh sir ka wo torture,

unke gyan ko bhi jhelne wale bechare hum sab the..

Sattu ka period to humesha rahega yad,

aakhir unki nak me dum karne wale bachche hum sab the…

Sahi me wo bhi kya din the,
